Children’s Art Studio 2026 Exhibit – Juntos Creamos / Together We Create
The Children’s Art Studio Richmond and the Richmond Museum of History & Culture are proud to present their third annual collaborative children’s art showcase, Juntos Creamos / Together We Create: Art in Collaboration and Community! Opening on Saturday, October 17, 2026, and running through mid-November 2026, this evocative exhibition transforms young brushstrokes into monumental community statements.
Featuring vibrant, large-scale collaborative paintings, prints, and immersive installations created by children ages 2 to 5, Juntos Creamos celebrates the boundless imagination and inherent social connection of early childhood. The showcase honors Richmond’s deep-rooted legacy of early childhood arts education—a tradition pioneered during World War II by Richmond’s historic Child Care Centers (1943–1966).

About the Children’s Art Studio Richmond / Taller de Arte Para Niños
The Children’s Art Studio Richmond / Taller de Arte Para Niños provides free, quality arts-based classes to low-income children regardless of background or abilities. Their program is grounded in the belief that the arts create a more just and equitable society and act as a driver for economic change. They believe that all children should have access to quality arts education and have the opportunity to express themselves through art. They recognize the importance of creating inclusive environments that celebrate the unique perspectives, talents, and cultures of children. They strive to foster a sense of exploration, creativity, and self-expression in each child, while promoting the importance of access to the arts in their local community.
