The Children’s Art Studio Richmond / Taller de Arte Para Niños and the Richmond Museum of History & Culture are proud to present the 2nd annual Children’s Art Exhibition, “Worlds Imagined by Children”! This exhibit continues to highlight the importance of establishing the joy and creativity of art in early childhood education, allowing all children to imagine, free of barriers. This means expanding access to programming, art-based learning, and access to childcare for underserved communities.

About the Children’s Art Studio Richmond / Taller de Arte Para Niños

The Children’s Art Studio Richmond / Taller de Arte Para Niños provides free, quality arts-based classes to low-income children regardless of background or abilities. Their program is grounded in the belief that the arts create a more just and equitable society and act as a driver for economic change. They believe that all children should have access to quality arts education and have the opportunity to express themselves through art. They recognize the importance of creating inclusive environments that celebrate the unique perspectives, talents, and cultures of children. They strive to foster a sense of exploration, creativity, and self-expression in each child, while promoting the importance of access to the arts in their local community.
