From 2:00 – 3:30pm on Saturday September 14, 2019, please help the Richmond Museum of History welcome American Jazz Guitarist/Composer Pascal Bokar for an afternoon presentation. In addition to his music career, Bokar is also a writer and is excited to speak to our Richmond audience about his book titled: “From Timbuktu to the Mississippi Delta: How West African Standards of Aesthetics Shaped the Music of the Delta Blues“ (Cognella, 2011).

Presentation will include a slide show of images and media clips.
